Poundstretcher Confirms Grand Opening at Idlewells Shopping Centre

Idlewells Shopping Centre is delighted to announce that Poundstretcher, the popular discount retailer, will officially open its doors on Friday 19th December 2025.
The new store, located in Unit 19-21 next to Heron Foods, will be a welcome addition to the centre’s diverse retail mix, offering shoppers thousands of essential goods, household products, groceries, and seasonal items at exceptionally low prices, just in time for the final Christmas rush.
The opening provides residents of Sutton-in-Ashfield with a fantastic new destination for budget-friendly Christmas shopping, home décor, and everyday essentials. The store opening is also expected to create 15 new local full time and part time jobs.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Friday 19th December 19th at 9:00 AM, featuring a special visit from Santa. They will be giving away goody bags to the first 100 customers through the door and there’s also a chance to WIN £100 worth of vouchers to spend in store.
